Georgios Basdekis

Fire Safety Officer

Mr. Georgios Basdekis has been in the fire industry for the past 20 years, starting as a forest fire fighter in special airborne unit in 1995. He joined the Greek Fire Brigade and stayed with for the last 15 years working as a firefighter, firefighting officer and fire safety officer.

The last 10 years were spent as a station officer in operation level and also as a lead fire safety officer and head of Civil Defence Office of Lesvos Island and later of Evoia Prefecture.

Georgios Basdekis graduated in 2004 with an Fire 2nd Lieutenant Degree from the Greek Fire Academy.
